Freedom
$3,000.00
Freedom is a tranquil, poetic waterscape capturing the stillness and spiritual harmony of a coastal sanctuary at twilight. Bathed in ethereal shades of lavender, dusty rose, and sunlit amber, two dugout canoes rest moored to wooden shoreline pilings where white egrets perch in quiet vigilance. Across the mirrored water, a lush island of tropical palms and mangroves glows with faint reflections of golden lantern light beneath a flight of soaring birds. The atmospheric, dreamlike application of paint conveys deep peace, environmental harmony, and unburdened liberty, offering a serene focal point for collectors of contemplative landscape art.

Artist Statement
My practice interrogates the contours of memory, womanhood, and cultural belonging within the modern African diaspora. Through textured layers and deliberate figurative forms, I translate personal histories into shared sanctuaries. Each work is an invitation to witness resilience, vulnerability, and the enduring beauty found in the rhythms of everyday stillness.
